Drawings

Astronaut

First, you should visit a unique place related to the mysterious "megaliths". There are bizarre "leaky" caves and four-meter menhirs, that remained from an ancient observatory in the "Mengirnoy" beam near Bakhchysarai. The largest in Crimea yew grove leads to the mountains. One of the most puzzling Crimean wonders can be seen on the rocky promontory here: it is a silhouette of a man in a space suit carved into the rock, which is a handiwork of unknown master who lived thousands years ago. Also there is a cave with primitive drawings made with ocher on the walls here.

According to legend, the Alim beam is named after a robber of the XIX century. In fact, this is one of the most interesting sights of Crimea, rich with ancient artifacts: the site of primitive men in the cave, menhir with mysterious hieroglyphs, rock bas-reliefs and ocher paintings. The Taurus stone boxes can be seen on the top of Mount.

There are a lot of examples of rock paintings of the Neolithic period (20 thousand years ago) in the rock shed Tash-Air, such as ocher paintings depicting scenes of hunting and of other important events in the life of ancient men.
